Volunteer
We are always looking for new volunteers to train as First Responders. We aim to provide cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the duty rota caters for the availability of individual responders. Some can only manage a few hours now and again, others can do more.

Due to the nature of the role, First Responders may regularly come into contact with children and other vulnerable members of the community. Because of this, all First Responders are security vetted by Northumbria Police and a Full Disclosure CRB check must be completed. Those with a criminal record will not be able to train as an active First Responder, but may be able to volunteer for a support role.
